Municipal Elections
Henderson Municipal Elections are OPEN and NONPARTISAN. You may vote for any candidate in
 your sample ballot, regardless of your party affiliation. Candidates’ party affiliations do not
 appear on the ballot or in the sample ballot.

The primary election must be held on the Tuesday after the first Monday in April of each odd-numbered year. The general election must be conducted on the Tuesday after the first Monday in June of each odd-numbered year.

The next City of Henderson Municipal Election is scheduled for the Spring of 2009.

Offices up for Election in 2009 will be:

  • Mayor
  • Councilman Ward III
  • Municipal Court Judge, Department II

Candidate filing will be conducted Tuesday, January 27, 2009 through Friday, February 6, 2009.
