Contest Overview
Each October cities nationwide celebrate the important role of planners in their communities. Planners address both the existing and future needs of our community. Planners affect our lives in Henderson every day. They maintain neighborhood character, reduce environmental impact, provide protection from natural disasters, preserve parks and open spaces and help determine where the buildings, businesses, homes and roads will be located.
The photo and video contest is your chance to capture their efforts throughout our community; and help celebrate how their work makes Henderson a place to call home.
