Grants ClearinghouseThrough the Grants Clearinghouse, the City of Henderson continually searches for alternative funding sources to supplement the City's general fund. Staff researches publications, web sites, foundations, federal agencies, and organizations to tap into additional funds that may benefit a specific project or program for the City. The grants are usually considered gap funding and do not cover the cost of the entire project, but assist the City with leveraging of their resources. The Grants Clearinghouse also tracks grants that have been applied for and each potential grant distributed to specific departments within the City. If a grant is received, the Neighborhood Services Division tracks the progress of the grant to the completion of the project and offers any technical assistance that may be required or requested.
