and In-Patient Hospice Facility in Southern Nevada

Nevada is ranked number one in the nation for elderly population growth and this facility will fill a vital need for Henderson as well as for the entire southern Nevada area. In Henderson, Nevada alone the senior population (55+) is projected to grow by almost 25% in just five years reaching over 90,000, which equates to 27% of the total projected City population (331,934).

Nathan Adelson Hospice, Henderson Community Foundation and city of Henderson will break ground on the first-and-only hospice and adult day care facility located in Henderson. Funding for the $3.5 million facility was made possible through combined efforts of the Nevada Congressional Delegation, Clark County, city of Henderson and local community leaders.
Part of a 11-acre campus at the corner of Nevada State Drive and Compassionate Way, the hospice component will be a 28,000 square foot 16-bed in-patient facility that will also house a team of homecare nurses. The adult day care facility will be a 9,000 square foot facility for seniors with cognitive and physical limitations. The city of Henderson donated the land for the development of this much needed facility.
