Community Pride Award
The Commemorative Beautification Commission presents the Community Pride Award to recognize individuals or businesses that have improved the appearance of their neighborhood or added to the beauty or cleanliness of Henderson. The Community Pride Award recipient is interviewed by the media, usually with an article and pictures describing their accomplishment. They also receive a Community Pride Award sign, which is posted for several months in the nominee’s yard or business exterior that recognizes their outstanding efforts.

Examples of previous award winners include homeowners who have cleaned up a neglected yard or common area, or have converted turf to xeriscape, thereby improving the appearance of their home or community area. Call 267-4014 for more information.
