ABC Etc.
ABC ETC. is a state-licensed preschool specially designed for children 3-5 years of age and held at Valley View Recreation Center.

Open REC
This program is based on recreation activities: arts and crafts, games, movies, plays, tournaments, and special events, to name but a few.
These activities are designed to develop a positive self-image, and
promote group interaction, socialization and creativity.

Jr. Kids Zone
This Monday-Friday program is designed specifically for the 4-5 year old preschoolers. This program provides participants with a variety of
supervised activities including arts and crafts, games, sports, sing-alongs, circle time and special events.

Kids Zone
Kids Zone is an all-day program designed to entertain and enrich
Henderson youth. The program is held at four recreation centers on weekdays 7:00 am-6:00 pm.

Park Pals
This free seasonal program provides games and sport activities during
lunch breaks Monday-Friday at Henderson elementary schools for children
in grades K-5.

Safekey
A before- and after-school recreational enrichment program at all Henderson elementary schools. This fun-filled program focuses on crafts, games, cooking and special activities as an alternative while parents work.

Teens-N-Training
The mission of the Teens-N-Training junior leader program is to train teens, ages 14 and 15, to become recreation leaders and to provide assistance for our summer programs. This program encourages self confidence in teens as well as develops communication and leadership skills.

Parents/Teens will need to complete and submit a registration packet to the Youth Enrichment office the week April 16-20. Packet is due by 7 pm on April 20. For more information please call (702) 267-4100.

Teen Scene
This after-school program is for children in grades 6-8. Teen Scene provides a USDA snack and features arts & crafts, cooking, sports, field trips, social events.

Teen Zone
Teen Zone is an all-day recreational program designed to entertain and enrich Henderson teens ages 12-14.

Traveling Teens
This program will take middle-school-aged pre-teens and teens out into the community three days a week.
