Survey/Right-of-Way and Property Management
Survey
Establishes and maintains horizontal and
vertical control networks, real-time GPS, construction staking,
topographic and boundary surveys, as well as ensuring the subdivision of
land conforms to applicable state and local laws.
Right-of-Way
Right-of-Way oversees the acquisition and
vacation/abandonment of rights-of-way and easements for public streets and
highways, trails, municipal utility and drainage facilities.
Property Management
Property Management oversees the purchase, sale, and lease
of real property for the benefit of the public including the issuance of
permits and/or easements to occupy City-owned property. In addition,
requests for annexation (expansion of City's corporate limits) are processed.
