Acacia Demonstration Gardens is located at 50 Casa Del Fuego, off of I-515 and I-215, adjacent to Acacia Park in Henderson.
Henderson Multigenerational Center is located at 250 Green Valley Parkway, within Liberty Point south of the Henderson Pavilion.

Gardens
The
Acacia Demonstration Gardens
brings conservation to you by providing a variety of home landscaping choices
designed to minimize residential outdoor water use. Located off of I-515 and
I-215 adjacent to Acacia Park at 50 Casa Del Fuego, the Gardens is an excellent source of information and inspiration for residents who are looking
to keep their homes beautiful and their landscaping conservation-friendly.
Created through a cooperative partnership between the City of Henderson
and the Conservation District of Southern Nevada, the Gardens hosts a variety of drought tolerant landscaping options including
a meditation garden, a cactus garden, and a wildlife-friendly garden.
Visitors to the Gardens can obtain information about turf planting, xeriscape, irrigation systems and ways to conserve and avoid water
waste.

Turf Removal Loan Program
The Turf Removal Loan Program assists Henderson residents of any income level who wish to replace their water-thirsty turf with water-efficient landscaping. The program offers a loan for up to $5,000 at 3% interest, amortized over a seven year period. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the Southern Nevada Water Authority's Water Smart Landscapes Rebate Program in conjunction with the Turf Removal Loan Program. Eligible applicants must be City of Henderson Department of Utility Services customers, and the property being converted must be their primary residence. Eligible applicants must meet minimum credit requirements.

Homeowner Enrichment Landscape Program (HELP)
The Homeowner Enrichment Landscape Program is a unique partnership between the Department of Utility Services and the Neighborhood Services Division of the City of Henderson. HELP offers qualified applicants an interest-free loan of up to $5,000 to convert their yard to desert landscaping, due and payable only on death, divorce or transfer of property ownership. Funding for the program is limited, with applicants demonstrating the greatest potential for water savings given first consideration. To qualify for the program, applicants must own and currently reside at the Henderson home to be landscaped, and have a total annual gross income less than or equal to 80% of the area median income, adjusted for family size.

Southern Nevada Water Authority Rebate Programs
The City of Henderson is a member agency of the Southern Nevada Water Authority, which
offers a wide variety of rebates and coupons, including:
Water Smart Landscapes, a rebate program for turf removal
Car wash coupons
Pool cover coupons
Smart irrigation controller and rain sensor coupons
Water Efficient Technologies Program, a rebate program for businesses that install water efficient devices
